Frequently asked questions
What is the Global Health CIO Club?
A verified online and in-person community for technology leaders in healthcare: CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, CMIOs, CNIOs, chief digital officers and heads of digital health.
How much does membership cost?
Nothing during the founding year. Any future fee will be announced at least 60 days ahead, with preferential terms for founding members.
Can vendors join?
No. Vendors, consultants, recruiters and investors cannot be members. They can sponsor events or advertise, but they never see member data.
How long does approval take?
Usually within 3 working days after you verify your email. Applications with a work email and a LinkedIn profile are faster.
Can I ask a question anonymously?
Yes. Anonymous questions are visible only to signed-in members and never show your name, role or organisation.
Which languages are supported?
English, Arabic (right-to-left), French and Spanish at launch. Portuguese, Chinese, Hindi and German follow as chapters grow.
Who can see what I post?
You choose per post: public (anyone, including search engines), members only, or one circle. Anonymous questions are always members only.
Can I share my articles on LinkedIn?
Yes. Public articles have share buttons for LinkedIn, X, Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram and email, with a preview card.
How do I start a chapter in my country?
Use the contact form and choose “Lead a chapter”. Countries with 25 or more verified members get a chapter admin.
Who operates the club?
The club is operated on a not-for-profit basis by Caresoft Foundation, with membership decisions made by chapter admins.
How does the AI club assistant handle my data?
It answers only from club content you are already allowed to see. Authors are described by role, never by name, threat-intel posts are never used, and your question is not stored.
Why do I need two-step verification?
Admins must use it to protect member data. Members can turn it on in Account security with any authenticator app; it stops someone with your password from signing in.
Are live roundtables recorded?
Roundtables held in the club's own video rooms are recorded for registered members only. Never share patient data on screen.
What do advertisers and sponsors see?
Only totals such as views and clicks by country and language. They never see member names, emails, profiles or discussions, and cannot enter the members' area.
